Once you’ve made the decision to attend our cosmetology, aesthetics, manicure, or instructor program, your next step is determining which financial plan will be used to cover tuition. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.
As an accredited institution, Career Academy of Hair Design can offer a variety of flexible payment options to assist you in this process.
Career Academy of Hair Design participates in federal student aid programs, including Federal Pell Grants for eligible students. A Pell Grant is a form of financial aid that generally does not need to be repaid. The amount awarded depends on factors such as financial need, eligibility, enrollment status, and the applicable federal aid rules.
Federal student loans for eligible undergraduate students. Direct Subsidized Loans do not accrue interest while enrolled at least half-time.
Federal student loans available regardless of financial need; interest accrues from the first disbursement.
Federal loans for eligible parents of dependent undergraduate students to help cover education costs.
The U.S. Department of Veterans’ Affairs has approved Career Academy of Hair Design to accept VA education benefits for qualifying veterans, spouses, and dependents.

For cash paying students, we have monthly payment plans.

Follow these steps to complete the financial aid process.
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at StudentAid.gov. Provide the required financial and personal information for the applicable FAFSA award year. If you need assistance, contact our Financial Aid Office.
It takes about 3 to 5 business days for you to receive a Student Aid Report (SAR). Review it for any needed corrections. The SAR is for your records.
Schedule a time to tour the school and discuss your Financial Plan.
• Complete an application for enrollment.
• Provide proof of education such as a high school diploma or GED certificate, an official transcript showing secondary school completion, or a state certification of home-school completion.
• Social Security Card or Passport.
• Proof of age – Driver’s License or birth certificate.
If there is any additional information required, you will be advised at your appointment.
If you are applying for federal student loans, complete the required Entrance Counseling (EC) and Master Promissory Note (MPN) through StudentAid.gov before your loan funds are disbursed.
